Subject: A worthy successor to Zeldovich? (also Re: Intro textbook)

On a slightly different note, we've been referencing Zel'dovich & Raizer's
"Physics of Shock Waves and High-Temperature Gasdynamic Phenomena" for a
while here.  It has a lot of good stuff on a lot of different things; I'm
*guessing* that the term "plasma physics" was not so much in use in USSR
of the 1960's?

However, the book went out of print in 1989.  Does anyone know of a
book that can qualify as a worthy successor?  Lots of stuff on
radiation, thermodynamics, electromagnetics, and hydrodynamics at very
high temperatures?
