The purpose of the school is to give an introduction to the problems of linear
and non-linear space plasma physics, ionospheric modification, and the use of
the ionosphere as a space plasma laboratory.

TOPICS THAT WILL BE COVERED INCLUDE

     Linear plasma waves
     Wave-wave interactions and non-linear waves in space plasma
     Waves in random media and turbulence
     Radio methods for investigating the near-Earth space plasma environment
     Solar and stellar coronal plasma
     Plasma under extreme conditions in space
     Model experiments in the Earth's ionosphere as a means of understanding
     plasma phenomena in other environments
