Subject: Help Re: Cheap plasma coating device

I was wondering how expensive it was to plasma or vapor deposit material
on a substrate. I do not require ultra purity like they would in an IC
fab house. I just wanted to experiment with laying down layers of
metals and silicon on a substrate.

If devices are quite expensive (as I am on my own), are there any
companies that are reasonable to use for such a deposition experiment?
