I'm seeking all the information I can in order to better understand
sputtering, plasma (what it is, its nature, etc.), and the components
necessary to create plasma. Could someone please help me get a better
grasp on any or all of the above subjects (in layman's terms)? I'd also
appreciate any reference files on the net (via the web, ftp, etc.) and/or
books you'd care to recommend...

I certainly don't mind if you post your response, but please E-Mail me a
copy when responding - I don't get to check Usenet nearly as often as I'd
like (and I'm afraid I'll miss it). <: )
