Subject: cheap plasma window

Ady Hershcovitch invented a plasma window which
is a
sort of plasma stopper on a vacuum chamber.
Hershcovitch used electrodes
to make the plasma
window, but there may by a cheaper way to produce
plasma.
I have an application that requires a
large (> 10 centimeters) plasma
window lasting
for about 0.1 second. Is it possible to make
a large
volume of helium or hydrogen plasma with
a detonation?
PS.
