Stewart,

In my triple probe studies of the PPT plume, I also observed oscillations
of the floating probe potential.  However, the positive probe followed
these oscillations as well.  Since we're only looking for the voltage
difference (to get electron temp) I never found the oscillations to be a
problem.  What are you using to apply your voltage?  Maybe there's a
problem there?

I think we met at the JPC in Cleveland last summer.
