High precision and stability
combined with speed is achieved by the
temperature and vibration
stabilized system with beam-steering and X-Y
table motion working
together.
This marking/fine detail cutting laser was installed
(under supervision
of Control Laser's technicians) in a clean high tech
electronics
Research & Development laboratory in Silicon Valley
California
in 1997. It was part of a research program to develop a new
manufacturing
process. A few hundred quick laser cutting and marking
operations were
performed, yielding excellent results for the high tech
company's
research. That project was completed in 1998, so the company
does not
presently require the laser and it is being made available now
for sale.
The system is currently still installed at the lab site.
The
beautiful matching high tech gray/blue Class 1 laser metal
enclosure,
control console, and chiller are in immaculate condition and
have been
maintained in an environmentally controlled limited access
room. This laser
is a magnificently impressive device to be in the
presence of.
